No-Name Calling Week Starts Monday

No-Name Calling Week starts this coming Monday. The event is from James Howe's young adult novel The Misfits:

I read this book for my Curriculum Integration class. It details the dynamics of one group of middle school misfits and their student council struggle to end name calling in their school.

This is something I would love to implement in a middle school...or any school. I remember being called names in middle school and how awful it felt. So, I think this is a great idea for helping kids understand that name calling is not something they want to do.
